Firstly, the cover is absolutely gorgeous. 

This book is a roller coaster from the moment that Saphira's life comes to an end. 
Honestly, there were times while reading the story where I thought:"How is this ever going to work out?!" 
The beauty of this horror story is that each of the characters is not only fighting the demons and fellow doomed souls, they're also in conflict with their inner demons and whether they love themselves enough to believe that they are worthy of a second chance at life. These characters are flawed, but they won't go down without a fight. 

I had to take breaks while reading because the suspense made me so anxious that my stomach ached 😆

It is truly a joy to read, and I think this is a great read for people who enjoy (paranormal) horror.
