Were there some things that didn't make complete sense to me in the plot? Yes. Was I entertained? Absolutely!
If you're a fan of stories like Ready or not, you'll enjoy this book.

Adina didn't know what she signed up for, and once she was in, it was too late to back out. I do believe that she stayed in a state of naivety for a tad too long: especially with a roommate who was willing to survive and pull through with her. I did find her a likeable character and enjoyed her camaraderie with Saint, her fellow contestant and roommate at the estate.

I've seen some reviews questioning why other people would go along with Remington's games for so long. Well, I personally believe that similar corruption exists in the real world and has come to light in recent years surrounding (sexual) misconduct towards adults and minors by people who were in a position of power and/or had a lot of money. The minors in some cases being put in these vulnerable positions by their parents. In a lot of these situations, people had heard whispers, rumors, or straight up knew about it and looked the other way because they were benefiting from it or afraid of possible repercussions. When you're looking at the story through those lenses, all of a sudden, it doesn't seem so farfetched of a scenario.
As such, as a satirical commentary, the author definitely hit the mark, in my opinion.
