Sheltering Rain by Jojo Moyes
4.0
Thoroughly enjoyed this book as I always enjoy Jojo's book. Jojo is a master story teller with fab research skills that leave no stone unturned meaning the reader can immerse themselves fully in the details of the story. Characters are believable and likable. Even Sabine, the moody teenager that hates on mum - I mean, I get it, she doesn't really know her. In ways of trying to cover up her painful past, Sabine's mum Kate, left out all the negative details of her childhood. Same for Kate mother Joy - painful memories just pushed to the side in the hop they never surface again.
But they do and when the lives of all three women collide, they have to face the music. Lovely story of three generations of strong women, love, disappointments, heartbreaks and horses!
