Fantastic book! I discovered Natasha Solomons when I read "The House at Tyneford" which was touted as "If you like Downton Abbey you'll love..." - which proved to be true!

Hard to believe, but this book was better. It's an oddly hopeful and inspiring book about racism, tragedy and finding hope in a life you didn't know you could find.

It definitely makes me want to book a trip to rural England!
