Leonardo Da Vinci by Walter Isaacson

4.0

Isaacson is no stranger to biographies of geniuses, having also written ones for Einstein and Steve Jobs. This extensive profile of da Vinci really gives you an immense appreciation for the Renaissance-era genius and how that label was not a natural-born gift but a hard-earned one based on curiosity, effort, and perseverance. Lots of lessons contained in this book about how to be more like da Vinci, even just a little bit, that make it inspiring and worth the read. And I'll certainly never look at water currents or hair curls the same way again!
