I adore a book that I just sit down and read through in a day and that's exactly what I did with this one. Victoria isn't an easy character to like, but I did end up liking her - if not for her character, for her strength.
It sort of amazes me that she has such a tough grasp on an unconventional family - so for that matter does Elizabeth - but once they find it, it's lovely and you can only imagine a wonderful life.
