How to Do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy by Jenny Odell
Did not finish book. Stopped at 23%.
This book is interesting and well written
But
I am a quarter of the book in and I'm still not interested in the actual topic.. I've learned interesting tidbits about communes and a rose garden and redwood trees, yet I fail to see the bigger picture. That's probably on me, it's probably going to come later on, although the (lengthy) introduction also tells the reader that this is not a tidy self help guide.
But I'm quitting this, sadly. It's essaylike, but I think it might have benefited from staying an essay instead of becoming a 200 page book. I liked the journey for a while, but now I just fail to see the point.
On to my next read!
