I liked this book, although it was not what I expected. I thought it would be more of a lighthearted—this is the type of behavior a house cat shares with a lion. Learned so much about the evolution of the cat and our relationship with them. And although I love cats, I too am puzzled about our association with them. One of my favorite essays compared little kids to dogs and teenagers to cats. Considering the majority of the time they seem indifferent to us, we are just so excited when they choose to sit with and be nice to us. The teenagers...and the cats 😄
