This was such an interesting read! The book explores how more and more people are moving away from religion but then miss some of the positive elements of religion. Ter Kuile offers ways that we can remain spiritual and foster connection to ourselves, others, and our spiritual identities.

I enjoyed this book. It was nice and short but it still made me think about how I could bring more meaning to the rituals I already have and maybe try adopting some new ones. It was also interesting to read about the different kinds of communities the author and his partner researched. And as a reader, of course, I loved the concept of reading a sacred text and the fact that a sacred text doesn’t have to be the kind of book you think it does!
