And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
4.0
I honestly enjoyed this book much better than I thought I would. I listened to the audiobook and it certainly added more creep factor than just reading it.
And Then They Were None is about 10 strangers who are invited to Soldier Island by mysterious and wealthy benefactors. It’s not long before they discover that they were only invited for one reason and that reason is their deaths.
One by one, each stranger dies and to everyone else’s shock they all die according to the 10 Nursery Boys rhyme in each of their rooms. With no one else on the island but them, it’s clear one of them is doing the killing. Who could it be and why?
I loved trying to figure out who could have done, why they did it, and who was going to survive. When I got to the end and got the explanation I was shocked at some of the things I missed seeing. Great mystery book that makes you think and wonder about the darkness of human nature.
