This was the March pick for the Chronically Iconic Book Club, as it has OCD rep.

This YA novel follows Bradley and Celine, two high schoolers who used to be best friends and are now more like enemies. Celine is ambitious and has her future mapped out, but when Brad signs up for the same outdoor survival test to compete against her for the grand prize, her future begins to feel less clear. They begin to wonder if they should put the past behind them and be friends again, but each has their own anxieties to contend with first.

This is a great YA romance! I appreciated that it has a dual POV so you are in Brad’s head as he copes with his OCD, his feelings for Celine, and worries about his future. Celine’s POV helps you appreciate the growth of her character throughout the novel too. I just love Talia Hibbert’s writing style! I love the sarcasm and humour she infuses into her writing that just makes her books so enjoyable to read.
