In the latest of the Miss Julia series, Julia's jewelry is stolen and she decides to go fetch it - even if it is in Florida! Typical of this series, Julia knows her mind and gets her way. I enjoy the characters, particularly Lillian, Miss Julia's longtime maid. This book had a couple key characters from other books on vacation, so a new character and one not usually features both play big roles. Lloyd is, as usual, an entertaining character. Start from the first book, Miss Julia Takes Over. These are quick reads with an entertaining and strong female lead.
