Beautifully written! I was getting Sweet Home Alabama vibes the whole time, it was so so cute! I loved it so much. I also love how the author has such a natural way of writing about hard topics and making it feel brutal you the character and the story, without it being forced in your face. That being said, the mental health rep was very well done!

I hate bookstagram for peaking my interest to read this. It wasn't worth it. I don't remember what it was on bookstagram that made me add this to my tbr. If I had to guess, it was probably a dirty quote because those were the only scenes that made sense. It was like the author only wanted to write sex scenes because the plot was lost and the character development wasn't there. Both the FMC and MMC went from 0-60 too many times.

The FMC's dark secret was very underwhelming and made zero sense. I felt she was so immature all over. The MMC was all over the place. Everything was a hot mess. This book was so cringe and not in a good way.

The only loveable part of this book was the dog.

I'm just gonna come out and say it - I didn't like Halle. I tried really hard to like her but I did not really find her likeable. Happy for her development but she came across as someone who thinks she's an introvert and says she is but isn't. That or she's wanting to explore because she never felt like she got the opportunity to do so for herself. Which is fine..... I just didn't like her. Henry was great. He was fun, I appreciated the mental health rep, and was a good character all around. The story was fine but I was really bothered by Halle for some reason.

This is one the best indie books I've read!! I am blown away how sweet, empowering, hopeful, swoony this book gave off. The hard topics in this book were addressed with such grace. All the characters were so incredibly loveable in this cute small town. I want to visit Wallowpines just because of this book. I absolutely loved how Brooks just reminded Shay of her strength throughout the whole book. All the Graham brothers are sooooo swoony I cannot wait for Nolan and Levi's story!

I picked up this book since the author is local to Sacramento and man, there were so many Sacramento references! I loved that the plot of the wedding they were both working on was pretty much the plot of the book along with their character development. The dual timeline with Elliott's pov was cute. This would make a super cute movie, I'm here for it. It was a fun read.

I liked the characters and it was a fun lighthearted plot. But again, I felt like it was strong in the beginning and in the end and for some reason I would lose interest in the middle. But I enjoyed it enough!

Um excuse me, how did Abby Jimenez make me smile, laugh, cry, swoon, and cheer within 60 pages? She's amazing. That's how. Loved this!

I loved all the characters in this book. Just when you think nothing more could go wrong....stuff kept going wrong and it was comical! This book was very lighthearted and warm fuzzies. Eli has you swooning throughout. I also appreciated the mental health rep! It was a super cute read.

This book started off strong and was cute, the middle felt kinda slowish, and then the end it picked up. But I've noticed that's how I've felt about a lot of Elena Armas' books. It was a cute read with cute characters.
