This book started out so good and witchy and mysterious but the constant back and forth bitching in the middle between Annie and bea and em (hated Bea ngl) ruined it for me unfortunately
I also feel like I needed more info on basically everything, deffo should’ve been made into a sequel
Nathan’s death was so rushed over it’s like it didn’t happen, he was so loveable? He deserved more

Great end to the trilogy, although I would’ve liked more fight scenes
feel like cardan just being trapped inside of the snake instead of being it was a bit cheap, I expected more lore or power

I don’t get why ppl say it’s anti-trans because surely the book describes knowing who you are/your gender regardless of your body or how you present yourself? Is that not validating? Unless there are undertones with how the author describes it idk
