Slow to start, a bit predictable for most of the middle but the end really had me at the edge of my seat!

Yikes I really wanted to love this because SO MANY people were raving about it, and I was still coming off the high from 7 Husbands. I’ll say that unlike a lot of other reviews, I actually liked the dialog only format. It made for a lightening speed read. I also enjoyed how TJR was able to introduce damn near 60 characters in such a way that my lizard brain was able to keep up with them all from the jump. But other than that, this book was boring. Half the book is someone commenting on how incredible Billy and Daisy are, which was almost always worded the same exact way. The praise for their talent was ooooverrr kill to the point I started hoping one of them would get laryngitis or something to add a lil spice to the story. Also THE ENDING?????? SNOOZER. SO BORING holy moly all that for……….that?? That’s it????? Idk

I am speechless. I going to bed so I can think about what the fuck I just read.

Edit: Alright, first things first. If you’re one of those people who won’t like a book if you can guess the ending early on, you’ll probably wanna skip this one. However, if you like books for literally any other reason, this shit right here SLAPS.

From the first page you’re slammed with crazy and the ride doesn’t stop baby! This things got everything: mystery, suspense, hot dude, spicy scenes, shit that will have you have saying “oh bitch WHAT??” Out loud at 3 am bc you can’t put it down.

Go on and get to readin’ shoog and if you don’t like it don’t tell me
