Credence by Penelope Douglas
Well, I…..read it.
Not sure what this says about me but what’s done is done. No stars, just really inappropriate porn I have to unremember.

The love story part of this is great, sickly sweet and wholesome with some great little spicy scenes throughout.
But….. it could have ended like 5 chapters earlier. Also I know this is a story about political figures but anything related to Alex’s mom being president/trying to get re-elected, his goals of going into politics, etc had me so damn bored and it really didn’t contribute much to the over all story? Idk
I do love Alex and Henry tho

Whew this was a chore, literally took me almost 3 weeks to finish because I could never find myself wanting to pick it up…..UNTIL the last 200 pages.
But still, by the time I got to the “good” part I was so fatigued and just ready to be done. I ordered the new one before I even started it so I guess I have to start that one. Here’s hoping this is like ACOTAR and the 2nd book is better?

I sped through this one and overall generally enjoyed it, but I found myself not particularly hanging on the edge of my seat. The twist wasn’t huge, and while I don’t need to be surprised to still have a good time, I wish maybe there would’ve been a bit more elusiveness? Not sure what it was but I wasn’t blown away.
Love my girl Lydia though
