Somehow, both more and less bearable than her first novel. Never mind that she clearly has rich girl problems, she also has famous person problems. She does, however, have just a few truly relatable moment.s

This book was okay.

I went into this book expecting it to leave my head spinning and my heart racing. It...did not. I was invested in the story and I wanted everyone to end up happy, but apart from that, I found myself really not caring about most of the things that seemed important . I felt like a lot of the big moments fell short of the drama they required, while some pretty mundane moments were completely overblown. Too many small side mysteries or symbols to be truly believable. Also, I know our narrator was unbelievably messed up, but what teenage girl actually allows her boyfriend to treat her this way?

It wasn't until I finished the book that I even realized we never found out the narrator's name, that's how little I cared about the characters. The story line had a lot of potential, but the dots were not connected in a way that really pulled you in.

This book was very emotional. I didn't cry, but it was a close call. This is one of those stories that will stay with you for a very long time after you've finished.
