I'm a big fan of the show and this was different than I expected. The character is in a different place in her life and in a different location, but the book wasn't bad. If I had never seen the show, it wouldn't have bothered me. Since I had, it took me a little while to really get into the book and enjoy it. It was an overall good book and I would read the others.

I really enjoyed this book. I like this time period and to see what life was like back then and to hear it told through a little-known person's POV was really interesting. Two enthusiatic thumbs up. I can't wait to read the others in this series.

If you like romances (not the trashy kind), then this is a great book to read. You will enjoy the all three books.
