I was disappointed by the final conclusion. Ascending to godhood seemed pretty anticlimactic and it ended pretty abruptly after that. Meh to this book and series. I liked part of the series but some also dragged on. This book Deka seemed so whiney and all the other characters just background with support but missing personality or something going on besides Deka and the ongoing battle. Just bored and disappointed with Deka. I did enjoy Ixa’s clan though.

I enjoyed this book. The storyline and twists revealed themselves nicely and I enjoyed the characters and their relationships. It had some familiarity but also originality.

Wowwwww, the end of this pissed me off. I can’t imagine Ryker making up for it and the tease of the next book doesn’t sound like that’s the plan. Terrible. Gah I need happy endings.

I didn’t realize this was a duology and expected a cliffhanger but it wrapped up nicely. When it didn’t seem like many pages were left, I feared the conclusion would be rushed but I enjoyed it for what it was. The lack of communication kills me
but I’m glad it came together eventually
. I liked the ending and appreciated the different points of view between Dante and Alessa. It seemed uneventful for most of the book though, like it was all treading water until the battle, which was not what one may have expected, so I don’t feel like I can rate this too highly but just a good enjoyable book.

A little slow on the start but I liked it. Basic rom com but I like the fantasy appreciation.

Cute- I liked the characters and interactions/banter.
Thought the end a little too easy, expected more challenge, but I like that he trusted their relationship and bond.

Meh okay. Enjoyable characters but story and male lead a bit far fetched. I feel like this book didn’t have as much of the witty or charged conversation I usually enjoy.

Great read- very quirky, tongue in cheek, sardonic but light, humorous romance. Looking forward to the next.

I enjoyed this a lot- their banter and interactions, their personalities and struggle, and how it came together. One of the better romances I’ve read lately.
