Cute and simple. A little forced sometimes but I liked it overall.

I enjoyed this though it made me cry a few times. I feel like the anxiety was portrayed well and I highlighted a few passages. This story seemed realistic and I liked the interactions, descriptions, pacing… I normally like some more snark and wittiness but not all characters or stories are like that and this one was okay without that.

Good enough. Progresses well, good character development and variety, lots of action and reveals,… yet I don’t like this as much as Throne of Glass or even ACOTAR- maybe because I don’t like the characters as much (Tharion and Ithan eh) or love any of the rest really.
Also what was with Tharion and Ariadne ending as it did? So random and inconclusive. Also as big as the battle is- no one died besides Cormac? Also Hel and the Fallen can risk their souls but no one on Midgard? Seems dumb. Like the wolves ended up being a no factor.
Just meh I think.

I liked all the action and reveals at the end and the possibilities laid open, especially for Bryce and Day. But the rest was still a little slow for me. I didn’t care much for the mer’s point of view.

I followed the advice- it’s confusing, just accept it and keep reading, eventually it will make sense. And I think that’s accurate. Don’t love Bryce or Hunt but open to them and reading more. I like Ruhn and the fire sprite. There was a lot of action here and I enjoyed this book, but not as much as Throne of Glass.

Meh- this book was frustrating to me. I did not like Liv much- especially how she treated Alexis and Jessica and approached the whole situation with Royce. She was more forgiving of a family she never met who wanted her organs than molested or pressured women. She also seemed to make the whole thing about herself. It just made me sick and I wouldn’t want to be her friend.

It was okay- nothing special, sweet but missing those really well portrayed special dialogue/interactions that show the spark and fun and lust.

Cute romance but nothing too special- I was hoping for wittier dialogue or some spark to make this book and connect. I liked the characters, like the body-positive and sex-positive messages but her whole experience with only guys knowing/wanting her mom and the hole of not realizing he asked her out (also him not asking her to prom) was just meh for me. I didn’t like how quickly she got involved with him and racing through sex with no experience and totally new feelings towards him though, seemed unrealistic.  I did also like her changing her stance on bullies and standing up for herself, as well as she doesn’t need to involve herself. Again, cute but not special, just quick read.

I usually love sunshine/grump trope so was interested in this but it was pretty bad- characters’ actions did not make sense, I didn’t really care much besides Sylvia and for Omegas in general, and the whole world needed some work. Sex was meh also and I just skimmed some parts.

I enjoyed this book a lot- very cute and good characters and interactions. Just what I wanted! A light romantic comedy that made me smile.
