Could have used a REALLY thorough line edit, lots of repetitive phrases throughout. Overall, really sweet and heartwarming. I liked that the third act “breakup” wasn’t your average third act breakup.

One too many main characters to keep track of, especially the guys. The twist was a bit too obvious but still fun to get to.

And also WHAT ABOUT WILL.

Things got sort of slow in the middle, too many jumps and small details. But I loved the way this ended and all of the details tied up.

This book was almost infuriatingly bad. The premise was SO cool but the characters were ridiculously flat. So many cooler ways this could have gone but as it is I just didn’t care.

It physically hurts me to rate a TJR book this low.

I’ll give her a pass because it’s early stuff. This just had too much promise to fall this flat. It’s like if someone took In Five Years and wrote two different less good versions.

Do yourself a favor and watch that new Netflix movie with the exact same premise.

I didn’t hate this, but there was so little here that it was hard to feel anything. Everything was just so rushed and barely flushed out. Even the third act break up didn’t make sense because the rest of the plot was so thrown together. A nice escape but overall forgettable.

Please for the love of god stop it with the pregnancies for the sake of wrapping up a plot

The final battle felt a little too rushed for my taste but all in all I am happy with the way this series ended. I will miss these characters so so much.

I liked the background on the games themselves but I could not have cared less about either of the main characters. The Easter eggs were cool, and the history was fun to learn, but I simply did not give a single fig about Snow or Lucy Gray.
