I simply am not invested enough in these characters. The writing style is good but the characters are grating.

This book is like your favorite Nora Ephron movie had a baby with an Emily Henry and/or Ali Hazlewood book. The banter, the chemistry, the fully fleshed out side characters, the frustrating third act breakup. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me kick my feet and giggle. I want to wrap this book around me like a warm hug.

Big “not like other girls” energy for someone who doesn’t think twice before sleeping with a vampire.
