Continually improving but still frustrated a bit.
There should have been more groveling by North. I don’t believe it about Sage- either there’s an ability to make you look like someone else or more likely Riley is being threatened (or her unknown fourth but Riley is more likely, she always had a soft spot for him).

Not as frustrating as the first book but still somewhat. I’m liking the characters more but still ground to be made up.

I’m being generous with this rating because I’ve heard people swear by this series and I have hope it will improve. But the way Oli is treated and talked to and what’s she’s had to go through… everyone better be groveling real quick. It seems pretty unforgivable as of now, how quickly such negative assumptions and terrible/illegal behavior is justified.

Cute. I enjoyed it. He seemed to fall too easily then the birthday scene really bothered me but other than that good.

Eh I feel like this book and in the last I read the girl is doing more apologizing than the guy. This book has the male with all the power and success and having written a terrible dating playbook and he’s the one we’re supposed to feel sorry for? Nope.

Excellent book! I had heard good things that encouraged me to read though I couldn’t picture the story with the plot teaser- it didn’t seem possible. But it works and the characters were relatable and raw and just part of a very good book with some very quotable lines that I look forward to rereading my favorite lessons. I’m curious to see where this goes.

It was cute but the ending, the climax, seemed rushed and too simple.

I kept waiting for their relationship to be tested once they got together but it never happened- didn’t follow the normal formula that way lol- too much happy ending, confidence in their relationship.
This book was hot and motivating. Good quick romance read.

Cute and as original as a regency romance can be. Enjoyable read.
