Not my favorite of hers. I love Ali Hazelwood but this lacks some of the interactions and science the other ones demonstrate. I liked it but nowhere near as good as Love Hypothesis or Love Theoretically or Bride or some of her short stories.

Meh. Disappointing also- too easily moved past. And the very end was not enough I feel like. Also why did he never arrange another chef for her? I kept thinking in first and second book that he would surprise her with that after the initial date.

I’d heard good things about this series but it was just meh for me. No witty dialogue, not much personality or flirting, just boring romance to me.

I liked this a lot! I instantly liked the characters, writing, and camaraderie. I enjoyed Alexis and Daniel’s interactions and both of their points of view. I liked the whole storyline and the town and I’m so satisfied with the ending. Great book! Only thing I want is more of the after story and love but hopefully I can get a peek more during Bri’s book.
Edit: oh shoot I already read Bri’s ha! But I liked it! This was better in my opinion. I am very impressed with how the author writes about and includes mental health issues so accurately, fits them in realistically, and personalizes them so they are authentic.

I liked this. I read the other two books a while ago and don’t remember them well but I like Alosa a lot. However I wasn’t too disappointed for a fresh viewpoint. Sorinda is pretty badass- she reminds me of Inej from Six of Crows but not quite as cool. I also like Roslyn and her personality. Good book with some action and a bit of romance (could’ve used more thrown in/hinted at).
