Overall cute book and I liked the characters, premise, and banter, as well as the diabetes representation. And kudos on the banter because that is very important for me.
Funnily enough, when I expected problems, they communicated so well that crises were averted, which is crazy considering Wells is a professional athlete and grump with little history of healthy relationships or modeling of healthy relationships. Also the beginning of the book seems to imply he’s an alcoholic, yet he quits drinking with no issues then has some drinks with it turning into more or a problem.
Not very realistic.

It’s funny- I thought about stopping this book at the beginning because I didn’t like the main character or the writing style of her. But I picked it up one more time and then stuff started happening and I started enjoying it. Hey, Isadora didn’t like herself at the beginning of the book either! Lots of spots were meaningful and I liked this a lot. Good message.

Very cute- I just wish the ending was better,
it was just too quick and easy. I was hoping for more of a reveal besides bursting out with likes and me toos.
Other than that, I liked it.

An enjoyable, cozy fantasy read with originality and simple pleasures, as well as interesting relationships. Not amazing but a good light read!

I liked some moments and the lessons but
she was right at the end- he asked her to prioritize him after he encouraged her to put herself first. The book made a big deal about how she loved customer interaction and recommending books then she just leaves the store and goes completely behind the scenes-
disappointing.

Ugh I hate books with
characters doing terrible awful things and get forgiven pretty easily. Also her past was very emotionally… hard to hear. I’m okay with some turmoil but this was tough; I also like revenge lol and this only threatened it.
Did not like this. I liked the female character (organization, lists, business) but the rest eh.

What I expected, nothing too complex or clever, but I liked the characters.

I enjoyed this. It is original. It’s a bit slower (in plot and wits) than I normally enjoy but it is good. I didn’t love it as much as it was praised but it was good. It drew me in enough to be curious about the characters’ lives before and after, so that’s something. But I feel like no one really got completely fleshed out.
