Positively wrecked.
The Hunter Wars is, without a doubt, my favourite book in The Agapéd Bearer series.
The growth that we see in Lisa (and Caelum) in this book is wonderful. There is so much love within these friendships and found family. My heart feels full and broken at the same time after reading this book.

There's so much that I want to say, but I don't want to spoil it. So I'll just leave it at:
I highly recommend this YA fantasy series if you're looking for a coming of age story that matches the vibes of Princess Mononoke, Percy Jackson and Avatar the Last Airbender.

Laurel is 100% that B.
I absolutely love how Alexa Michaels writes her fmc's as women who aren't naive and understand exactly what they're signing up for when entering a relationship with a made man.
The chemistry between Dimitri and Laurel was immaculate, and I really enjoyed reading this!

Aanrader!

Elena Laurent has nailed it again.

This story was fun, entertaining, and had good banter and chemistry.
Nora and Gabriel are the main characters this time, and after seeing them in the background of the two previous standalones, I was excited!

The childhood friends, fake dating to lovers trope has been executed very well. I was laughing at both Nora and Gabriel, realising that they were in love with each other while simultaneously working through their emotions and worries about potentially ruining a lifelong friendship.

What I appreciate about the stories that the author tells is the manner in which the characters have real-life insecurities and struggles, but the story still manages to be light and uplifting. I finished this in one go, and with a smile on my face!

I enjoyed seeing the story from Heidi and Leo's pov. I've always thought that they were gems, and this solidified it for me.

It took me a while to finish this story because it shows a lot of grief and can feel heavy. That being said, it was nicely done. But may be something to be mindful of before you decide to read this story, to make sure to take care of your mental health.

I loved reading this story. Ellie's growth from reluctant heir to growing into what's expected of her as a monarch. I adored how loyal she was to her friends and how this never wavered.

The romance between Ellie and Sainte was an adorable, subtle slowburn. But for me, it's the overall plot and storytelling that kept me on the edge of my seat.
This is a romantasy with no open door spice, lots of tension, and a darker edge.

This graphic novel gives an insight into a year of the lives of a Spanish couple that decides to live in Japan for a year through a collection of drawn short stories. Julia Cejas has illustrated small and big struggles that one mag encounter when they're trying to adapt in a foreign country and different culture.
The stories that spoke to me the most were the ones where the Illustrator used humour to relay some of the communication challenges.

This manga has an adorable plot. The focus of the story is more about the relationship that the main characters have with their dogs, which is really sweet.
The romance development between the main characters is very slow and very subtle. I wouldn't recommend this to people looking for a suspenseful romance plot, but this would be ideal for people who are looking for a slowpaced, slice of life story about the bond between humans and their dogs.

This story immediately jumps straight into the action, and it doesn't let up.
Arabella and her friends are trying to escape their captors while simultaneously trying to figure out what their endgame is.
This story has magic, found family, and betrayal.
I found myself holding my breath while reading because this book kept me on my toes.
The romance honestly felt a bit rushed and didn't necessarily add to the story, in my opinion. It was the friendships that carried this story. The book ends on a cliffhanger and I'm looking forward to the next book!

There is mention of past child SA and SA, which is not depicted on the page.
This story is published in both Dutch and English.
